Our friends Rachel and Derek came for a weekend visit recently. It was so good to see them and their sweet doggies! We took them on a walk through the greenbelt, during which we played in the teepee someone built out of branches out there and discovered a new little house someone built, complete with a marked walkway and a birdhouse. We also took them to our favorite eating spot right now, which is Torchy's Tacos. I tried the frozen hot chocolate for the first time (delicious, by the way), and G ran into his little friend Juliet, whom he sees there frequently. (Okay, so maybe we go there a little too much, but, I guess so do they.) The visit was short, but fun, and we hope they make it this way again soon!
