The theme for Scout's 2nd birthday party was - what else - Curious George. We had a few of her little friends over for cake, games and fun. Some of Garrett's friends were able to attend, so that made it fun for him. Scout and her friend Kylie parked themselves immediately at the table in front of the food and took down a good amount of Pirate's Booty. The little ones were so precious playing the "pin the butterfly on the George movie scene" game we had, and the older ones admitted they could see around the blindfold and all stacked their butterflies in the perfect spot. We knew G could see when he turned his butterfly sticker right-side-up at the last minute and placed it perfectly over the one Caroline had done. When it came time for Scout to blow out her candles, her friend Kylie leaned in at the last second and took care of them herself! Scout didn't seem to understand, though, and we just re-lit them and sand the last line one more time. Kylie politely restrained herself that time (maybe I helped her a little). It was a sweet day. Thank you all for coming to help celebrate Scout's day!
