Scout turned two today. I can't believe she's only been a part of our family for two years, because I can't imagine life without her, and I'm sure Garrett can't remember it. So far, she's living up to her name with an attitude, a knocked-out tooth and bumps and bruises galore, especially on her forehead. Her curly hair is the icing on the cake of Scout's wild and silly persona. She is this perfect blend of girly charm and rough and tumble. She knows how to be coy, care for a baby doll, wield a sword, and growl like a lion.
The things Scout loves are:
her brother, above all others
Curious George
dogs
the word "no"
her silky pillow
her thumb
Elmo
Pooh
dancing
growling
Mickey
shoes
cars
Clifford
I am blessed everyday by my sweet little girl. Scout challenges us, and gives us unimaginable joy. I thank God that He trusted us enough to love her and raise her, so that we will one day give her back to him.
We all love you so much, baby girl. Happy Birthday, Scout!
