We're no better than the weatherman

Well, the 20% chance of rain turned into a full downpour. That's not really good for Ryan. We, however, are no better than the weatherman, since we missed Ryan at the first crew station. That's right, his faithful support team got there too late. Actually, we were there right on time, even a couple of minutes earlier than we planned, but Ryan is ahead of pace. It's good that he's running fast, but we weren't there to pick up his head lamp or change out any gear that he needed. We're just trying to forget about it now, and making sure we're way early at the next station. I guess that means the rain isn't slowing him down. Maybe he's sliding down the muddy hills!
